International Federation of Infection Control (IFIC)

The International Federation of Infection Control is an umbrella organization of societies and associations of healthcare professionals in infection control and related fields worldwide. The goal of IFIC is to minimize the risk of infection within the healthcare setting world-wide through development of a network of infection control organizations for communication, consensus building, education and sharing expertise

The INICC program is consistent with IFIC's mission, and for this reason, in October 2005, INICC joined and obtained the endorsement of IFIC. With this renewed strength and energy, all hospitals are welcome to apply to join the INICC program.
